Columbia Gorge Wedding & Event Venues

Columbia Gorge Event Venues

Looking for a venue in the Columbia Rover Gorge for your wedding, retreat, or party? Vibrant Table explores what’s unique about five of our favorite event facilities ~ and what you need to know before booking.

Gorge Crest Vineyards

Gorge Crest, Evrim Icoz, Gorge weddingsWant Mt. Hood to be a witness at your wedding? Gorge Crest Vineyards provides unbeatable views of our favorite mountain and river gorge as well as comfortable refuge from our fickle weather in a charming ballroom, complete with an inviting fireplace. The stone patio’s built-in bar is a Vibrant Table favorite.  This beautiful facility also features a built-in outdoor dance floor and three band areas with electrical outlets. To guide the party into late evening, plenty of lighting surrounds the outdoor event areas.Things to know: It’s WINDY! Go low with floral and batten down the hatches everywhere. Top hats are not recommended. For more than 150 guests, additional port-a-potties advised Capacity: 300+ on grounds / 150 indoors

Bridal Veil Lakes

Bridal Veil, Gorge weddings, Evrim IcozNestled in the waterfall district, Bridal Veil Lakes is easily accessed from our City of Bridges and is one of our most popular wedding spots. They offer a stunning lake-side gazebo perfect for wedding receptions and a variety of potential reception areas including three lawns and two covered pavilions. For an outdoor-only venue, the restrooms are surprisingly nice.  Vibrant Table recommends a Northwest or Mediterranean menu with grilled meats and vegetables and plenty of fresh salads. Things to know: Extra lighting and tents for receptions on the lawns will be needed. With so much space, set up is labor-intensive, so plan a little extra room in your budget. Capacity: 400+ on lawn / 70 in covered pavilion

Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast

Mt Hood Bed and Breakfast, Gorge Venues, Mt HoodThe charmingly rustic Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast is a new addition to the Vibrant Table venue family and “one of the coolest venues,” says event manager, Crystal Schlosser. With over eighteen years in the industry, owners Mike and Jackie Rice clearly understand the flexibility required of a successful event space. This well-thought-out venue includes a small B+B (4 guest rooms included with wedding package), two lawn areas — each with a built-in bar — outdoor kitchen and lounge-like barn with another kitchen (rain-plan!). The ceremony lawn provides an up-close-and-personal view of Mt. Hood. This beautiful Gorge venue also offers a host of other props including tables, chairs, lights, arches, trellises, dance floor and additional decor items. Things to know: The cocktail area is a hike from the kitchen, so hors d’oeuvre stations would work best during a cocktail hour. Also, if your vendors are driving from Portland, plan for extra traveling fees with the three-hour round trip journey. Capacity: 300

Gorge-ous Weddings at the Wind Mountain Ranch

Off Washington’s Hwy 14 and near Stevenson you will pass a 68-acre oasis overlooking the Columbia River, aptly named Gorge-ous Weddings at Wind Mountain Ranch. The wide carpet of lush green lawn is surrounded by rolling hills and rental includes a night’s stay at the three-bedroom ranch house. Other amenities include tables, chairs, 300-person tent, a dance floor, antique cars, and an assortment of decor knick-knacks to complement the rustic feel. With plenty of nearby activities — such as hiking, wine tours and fishing — Gorge-ous weddings is also ideal for family reunions and intimate retreats. Things to know: There are no kitchen facilities, so your caterer will need to provide grills, ovens, and any other necessary equipment. Additional lighting is also recommended. Capacity: 500

Cathedral Ridge Winery

Cathedral Ridge WineryAt this Wine Press NW top-10 picnic spot, an award-winning winery meets gardener’s paradise. Bright swatches of blooms hug walkways and are scattered across the grounds, which provide sweeping views of Pinot Gris vines, Mt. Adams to the North and Mt. Hood to the South. Everywhere you turn at Cathedral Ridge Winery, there’s a panorama to serenade you. The outdoor tasting bar is the facility’s most popular feature, but there are also two covered patios and a covered pavilion. Two indoor tasting rooms can hold 60 guests — great for employee appreciation festivities. A unique perk is the  professional wedding planner that comes with booking your big day here. Things to know: This is another windy venue. If your guests won’t fit under the covered areas, tents can be a challenge to assemble. Also, there are  no kitchen facilities for your caterer, so expect some extra charges for them to cart in grills, ovens, etc. Capacity: 200 maximum outdoors, 100 in covered areas / 60 in tasting rooms
